All of our engineered oak flooring is thoroughly tested, SVLK and FLEGT licensed and therefore EUTR compliant.
The top layer is genuine Western European Oak which assures you of its source, quality and consistency. We import our material directly from Indonesia, one of the leading producers worldwide. They are also the first country to establish an EU approved FLEGT licensing scheme to help stamp out the use of illegally sourced timber.
The ‘Core’ of our wood boards is constructed from a single species, Plantation Hevea (rubber wood). It doesn’t grow naturally in South East Asia so is farmed for this purpose. The Hevea used for the core of all our wood flooring has a density similar to Oak giving our floors unsurpassed stability in all different climates and environments.
With over 30 years’ experience in the manufacturing of engineered wood flooring, our factory has calculated and concluded that the best ratio of face thickness against the solid and stable core of Hevea is 3.2mm to 3.5mm as is the ideal specification for achieving the perfect balance within the board. Because of this, they are the only Asian producer that can export, sell and install their engineered flooring to any part of the world including harsh climate countries.
